Because there are oppressed people all over the world and because God cares about all of these people; ROM is not limited to where we may be involved. As God calls His servants to go out to oppressed people, where we work will depend upon where the vision is taking those He is bringing to us to serve.
2 Chronicles 16:9
“…when you relied on the LORD, he delivered them into your hand. For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.”
Into All The World
Release the Oppressed Ministries loves to hear about the vision that God has given people, who are determined to follow Christ into the world, and to bring God’s love and release to oppressed people everywhere.
If you or someone you know is stuck between the vision and what to do next, ROM may be able to help. Simply contact us: info@releasetheoppressed.net
Ministries in the Launch
There are several ministries that ROM is presently considering. For those we can serve, we will soon add to this page. The ones listed below are some that we are now helping to begin and develop.
• Quiver of Arrows
Quiver of Arrows ministry is guiding teens and young adults who have been raised in an orphanage, to help guide them into adulthood. Educating, vocational training, discipleship, and active ministry to neighborhood children and kids who spend their days on the streets, reaching out to them through sports activities, practical classes, and Christian film nights and programs.
• L.I.F.T. Ministries
Lucinda Shelton is well prepared in many ways. Her ministry is called LIFT, and with her degree in art education and her experience teaching, she is taking steps to see her vision revealed. This summer Lucinda will be going to an orphanage and setting up a program that will equip young people to make beautiful and practical items for sale, that they may receive when it is time for them to venture off into college or post orphanage education job training, what they need to be holistically successful in today’s society.
Updates
Release the Oppressed Ministries has only as of March 2012, begun reviewing new ministries. Check back monthly for updates to this page.
